I would also worry about more litter being kicked out with bigger cats since the entrance is wider. I do like the design of the 4, but either way there's going to be a giant spaceship litter box in your home so it looks awkward either way. Not worth a $200 upgrade IMO. My LR4 has been showing a pinch detect fault all day and I’m not sure if this could be why.. while I was cleaning I noticed this foam strip sticking out above the catch bin.
